The Art of Government

Project overview: A fictional student based project to redesign a government agency website as a responsive web design for desktop, tablet, & mobile.

I tested 5 users on basic tasks throughout the original TCA site to see how well and efficiently they were able to find specific information. I also asked users to view the site on mobile device. From there I asked users to Card Sort all navigation options to better understand how to help them find a clear path in the redesign.

A Style Tile & Full Style Guide was created to guide branding and consistency throughout the site. Themes were then applied to initial wireframes.

Because this was a redesign, testing was a necessity at many points. Usability tests were performed on the original site, as well as after low, mid, and high fidelity versions of the prototype.
